These environmentalists you speak of lack an understanding of capitalism. There is no such thing as "fair" capitalism. Run the simulation a million times and power will consolidate in the hands of a few monopolists every time. Competition causes winners and losers, it's one of the built-in features of the system. Cyclical crisis of overproduction result in further consolidation as firms are driven out of business or bought out during recessions.

We are tasked with operating in a material world, based on evidence, not some idealist fantasy of a "pure" capitalism (realistically what we have now is about the purest it's ever been from a capitalist perspective)
